Seventy Six and Sunny
Reigning from Columbia, South Carolina, Seventy Six and Sunny has showed no sign of slowing down after forming in the spring of 2012 by University of South Carolina graudates, A.J. Lang and David Kesling. Fresh off of two shows at Music Farm Columbia this past year in direct support of Atlas Road Crew and Stoplight Observations along with another 120+ shows across the Carolinas, the band is heading to Franklin, TN this coming fall to record a brand new EP. Deemed “Columbia’s college-rock favorite” by FreeTimes, the band’s circuit continues to expand, bringing its alt-rock sounds to Tennessee, Georgia, Virginia, and North Carolina in the coming months. Often compared to the likes of Sister Hazel, Matchbox Twenty and Hootie & the Blowfish, the band has built a large presence and following in Columbia for those who like nothing short of loud rock n’ roll.
